BMW EntryNav2 ID6 Apple Carplay Activation

At Ramzy Performance Nottingham, We Activate Apple CarPlay for your BMW if you have EntryNav2 iDrive 6. Enjoy a safer driving experience with CarPlay, which is capable of showing useful apps like Waze, Google Maps, Spotify, Apple Music and much more. Siri is also integrated within Carplay, to provide a more enhanced hands free experience. 

This is an aftermarket solution that will activate the factory Apple Carplay on your headunit. After Carplay is activated, the following things cannot be done otherwise Carplay will be disabled:

• Update ConnectedDrive (in iDrive > ConnectedDrive > Options > Connect to ConnectedDrive)
• Update Headunit (This is normally done by BMW Dealers, so make sure dealer doesn’t update car)

Once you have placed order, we will book you in for coding at our HQ in Nottingham.

Compatibility:

• EntryNav2 iDrive 6
• WLAN / WiFi Port
• 6.6″ or 8.8″ Screen – Both will work
• 2017+ Car

Your car needs to have the EntryNav2 system with iDrive 6, just like 2nd picture. It doesn’t matter if the screen is 6.6″ or 8.8″, it can be activated on both. The important part is the WiFi / WLAN port, this needs to be built in to your headunit in order for us to activate Carplay. Some cars will have the necessary option from factory but some may need an additional WiFi antenna installing.
