Preparing Your Vehicle for a Dyno Session

To ensure your dyno session runs safely and efficiently, please make sure your vehicle is prepared before arriving. Failure to meet these requirements may result in your appointment being delayed or rescheduled.

Fuel

Please arrive with a full tank of fuel.

For petrol vehicles, we recommend using 99 RON premium unleaded (E5), such as Shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum 99, where appropriate for your vehicle. Using high-quality fuel helps us achieve the best possible performance and ensures consistent results during tuning.

Dyno sessions can consume a significant amount of fuel, particularly during custom ECU calibration.

Tyres

Your tyres must be in good condition and suitable for dyno testing.

Before your appointment, please ensure:

  • No excessive wear or exposed cords
  • No punctures or sidewall damage
  • Correct tyre pressures
  • Wheels are securely fastened

For safety reasons, we cannot test vehicles with unsafe tyres.

Engine Fluids

Before arriving, please check that all fluid levels are correct, including:

  • Engine oil
  • Coolant
  • Brake fluid
  • Power steering fluid (where applicable)

Your vehicle should also be free from significant oil, coolant or fuel leaks. Any major leak discovered during testing may prevent the session from continuing until the issue has been resolved.

Lowered Vehicles

If your vehicle has been lowered, please contact us before your appointment.

Very low vehicles may not clear our workshop ramps safely. If you have adjustable suspension, we recommend raising the vehicle to a practical height before arriving.

Mud Flaps

If your vehicle has mud flaps fitted to the driven wheels, please remove them before your appointment where possible.

On some vehicles, mud flaps can come into contact with the dyno rollers during testing, creating a safety risk.

General Vehicle Condition

Please ensure your vehicle is mechanically sound before your appointment.

If you are aware of any existing faults, warning lights or mechanical issues, let us know in advance. This helps us assess whether it is safe to proceed with dyno testing.


Dyno Preparation Checklist

Before you arrive, please make sure you have:

●  Full tank of fuel (99 RON premium petrol where applicable)

●  Tyres in good condition

●  Correct tyre pressures

●  Engine oil and coolant at the correct levels

●  No significant fluid leaks

●  Suitable ride height (contact us if your vehicle is heavily lowered)

●  Mud flaps removed from driven wheels where applicable
